The Original Strife: Veteran Edition is a commercial source port released on December 12, 2014 (through Steam) by Night Dive Studios. It allows Strife to be played on modern computers (running Windows, MacOS or Linux) and adds updated features such as better 3D rendering, dynamic lighting and achievements. It also adds a Blue Chalice (the original is now the Red Chalice), for use in the deathmatch "Capture the Chalice" mode for 3 additional maps 36, 37, 38, and three Talismans which, if all three are found, grants a permanent super strength power-up and the Berserk Reborn Achievement.
