Who owns the copyrights to this game? 69.182.106.175 01:26, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- [IANAL] If it was published by Velocity, then it is still owned by Velocity, because copyrights are quite long-lived nowadays (at least 70 years for people and 95 years for companies). Of course, 11 years was a while ago in gaming terms, and Velocity may have gone out of business, in which case their assets may have been acquired by somebody else. How you would investigate that I don't know; try digging around in the archives of GNU mailing lists (FreeDevelopers.net maybe), where many programmers have undoubtedly asked analogous questions. - It was only published by Velocity, it was developed by Rogue Entertainment. They have since gone out of business. Fraggle 18:30, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- The rights to Strife have been obtained by Night Dive Studios in 2014 for use of digital distribution on the game delivery serivce Steam, and the digital storefront Good Old Games (though the DRM-free version is not released at the time of this message, it is still planned to be released there soon). 76.179.232.129 16:46, December 19, 2014 (UTC) Anonymous 11:45, 19 December 2014 (EST)

It doesn't work, since they redirected it to "Strife" the word. I can't edit wikipedia, but whoever can should fix the redirect here.{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 16:24, March 20, 2020 (UTC)
