Does anyone disagree with my analysis? Fredrik 17:22, 8 Feb 2005 (GMT)

Are you sure that the en-dash (U+2013 EN DASH) that you use is typographically correct? I thought that - was OK… Ducon 17:49, 8 Feb 2005 (GMT)

# The En Dash (–, –): This is slightly longer than the hyphen and figure dash, and about half the width of an em dash. It indicates duration, such as when you could substitute the word "to" (as in a range of dates). [1] - Fredrik 17:54, 8 Feb 2005 (GMT)
OK, I’m french and we don’t have the same typography conventions here. I modified my keyboard with em-dash (for the incises) and with the substraction sign (U+2212 MINUS SIGN) for math but not en-dash for the moment. Ducon 17:58, 8 Feb 2005 (GMT)

The post-script states that 30% of Doom II's European sales were in Germany. Mobygames says that the game was banned in Germany for excessive violence. How does this work? I'm willing to accept that the ban - if it exists - prevents it from being sold in stores, and that Doom II was therefore imported a lot. Was there a green-blood, 'Carmageddon'-style censored version? Or was it not banned at all?-Ashley Pomeroy 00:00, 17 Jul 2005 (UTC)

It was definitely banned in some form or other. Most of the germans I know just obtained warez copies of it: Quake and Quake 2 were similarly banned. I've heard rumours of a version of Doom II released without MAP31 or MAP32, but I can't substantiate that. -- Jdowland 15:17, 17 Jul 2005 (UTC)
