I have just removed the following:
'Additionally, he is a member of "BReich", a Brazilian non-profit group that advocates the forced removal of all blacks and Jews from Brazil.'
This is not the kind of thing we should be posting without very solid evidence. A search I just did failed to find any such evidence; what it did reveal is that "Marcos Abenante" is a fairly common name in Portuguese-speaking countries, so that even if there is evidence that a "Marcos Abenante" fits the above description, this would not of itself prove that this is the "Marcos Abenante" who is the subject of this article. — RobertATfm (talk) 17:42, April 21, 2014 (UTC)
And Marcos Abenante said in his Facebook page that he is center-wing Libertarian, so no, he can't be racist. 18.104.22.168 19:04, October 7, 2014 (UTC)
- Really? That is not what the Doom Community thinks about him. Remember that it's his behavior that got him banned from both the ZDoom and Zandronum forums in the first place. Justice ∞ (talk) 05:56, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I know. Well, in my opinion, people exaggerate a bit. Political correctness has become "out of line" here in Brazil and people got used to react with harsh jokes, but without any real bad intentions (mostly). Its a cultural strike here and I know he drop the ball sometimes, but accuse him as a racist don't make any sense at all. 22.214.171.124 18:46, October 12, 2014 (UTC)
Recent Edits talking about his Behavior
I had to rollback the recent edits because those were not appropriate enough for this wiki. The references didn't even work properly and one of the threads was auto-pruned because it was off topic on ZDoom forums. If anybody disagrees with me on this decision, let me know and I might reconsider re-adding the information. Justice ∞ (talk) 15:58, November 9, 2014 (UTC)
Going Into Detail Over Past Controversies
I had to protect the page for a week because someone kept re-adding detail about his controversies when one sentence is efficient. If I continue to see edits adding more detail about his past drama, I'll keep reversing the edits if this keeps happening. It's also a good idea to read the policies and guidelines to get a better idea about the format of the wiki. This means edits that are in a neutral tone and not for adding excessive detail where it's not needed. Justice ∞ (talk) 07:53, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
Censorship by JusticeInfinity
JusticeInfinity, obviously a friend of Seargent Mark IV, keeps deleting any detail regarding the infamous actions the modder has tainted himself with. This mod/admin is shielding Mark's nefarious behaviour behind a wall of "efficiency" while it's straightforward that he doesn't want the world to know what vile human being is the person behind the mod. Unfortunately there is no way to report this kind of behaviour to anyone, so, I guess, this guy will keep protecting his buddy. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Idclip (talk • contribs) 20:25, 5 September 2021 (UTC).
- I'm guessing just be reading your comments that you didn't bother to read the policies and guidelines at all. Similar edits such as yours have been rejected in the past according to the article's history. What you're not understanding is that your "details" as you call it aren't in a neutral tone and don't belong on here that's why I had to protect the article for a week to prevent you from re-adding that stuff. If you're that serious about adding detail about his controversies, you can feel free to do that on the other Doom Wiki where the admins over there will likely reject your edits just I have here. There's also YouTube and other social media platforms where you can talk about how bad the person is. I'm also not a friend of his, just following the policies and guidelines that were put in place. I've quoted, word by word, the ban reason from the most prominent doom forum. You're obviously biased and the rules you mention stretched as far as your admin powers let you abuse them. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Idclip (talk • contribs) 07:31, 12 September 2021 (UTC).
