Dr. Carmack?[]
In the Doom movie and Novelization based off of it, there is a particularly evil scientist named John Carmack. He founded the Hell Knight in Doom movie and novel. Could this be poking fun at John in using his name?
- Yes. "Dr. Carmack" and "Dr. Willits" if I recall correctly are the two names that were intentionally given to UAC scientists based on the game developers. The former is noted in the trivia section in Doom (film). I might clean up that section tonight since there are other things listed there that are obvious, redundant or questionable.
