#skulltag is the official Skulltag IRC channel. The channel is generally more serious and strict than others, and has been known as a good place for players to create a group and join a server.
Problems on OFTC Network[]
Due to certain members of the multiplayer Doom community pissing off a few OFTC administrators, #skulltag as well as several channels related to it were removed from the network. OFTC actually tried to give the channel as many chances as they possibly could but in the end were tired of members acting immature on their more sophisticated network. On February 2009, #skulltag as well as its testing channel (#sttesting) moved to the DALnet network, and in later 2009 to their own network.
