Tim Willits[]

Sorry Tess, I couldn't make it! (Audio log)

"It didn't work, sis! Doc tried everything with security, but they didn't let me through as his assistant. I must stay for now. They advised me to reapply. When Marcus arrives, he'll be able to prioritise and speed up my transfer. It may be a bit longer. I tried reaching Sarah, but I couldn't. Her last message said she's working in Jobim, with an idiot boss! She'd love to see me. The soldiers who escorted us promised they'll help me get north. I will write again once I reach the Northern Rail. I love you!

Audio log continuation: ...s Tim Willits. The wagon has crashed. ...sarcophagus-like things leaking blood, and a person, injured Put him here, and the other one, too! There's a flying thing here that transforms people. Oh God... It's happening! I need to..."

Marcus Caseon[]

The Man with Nine Lives

"By 2145 (Doom 3), Phil Bayly's book, or its film adaptation by Boris Karloff: The Man Who Had 9 Lives, was probably forgotten. Yet, the title perfectly describes the story of Doctor Marcus T. Caseon, or simply "Mark", as his friends know him. Our hero was always in the right place at the right time. Or, more accurately, never in the wrong place at the wrong time. In 2112, he started as an 18-year-old medic at Amundsen Outpost, in the Martian Promethei Terra region near the Argent Fracture. A few years later, he survived the first interdimensional attack from The Well because the monsters could not reach him. A power outage stopped his elevator, trapped between floors. He only heard gunfire, accepting the fabricated pirate attack story."

Marcus T. Caseon, is a minor character in Doom 3, therefore he received his own subpage.

William Banks[]

The Human Face of the UAC, Key Figure for tempting Mars job opportunities

"William L. Banks is a minor character in Doom 3. He's a top executive, one of the 3 leaders of the UAC Research Facility on Mars. He's the Director of Operations. Officially, it's the top of the hierarchy & he reports directly to the Board, like Dr Betruger. Unofficially (though well known), he is Samuel Hayden's man. Hayden appointed him Co-Director in 2117 alongside Betruger. Due to the 2-to-1 voting split, the real control of the Research Facility (and the whole UAC Mars) is actually in Hayden's hands. Rumours say UAC's staff shortages since 2135 (teleportation test began), but it started in '27, after Argent Tower's completion. This worsened by Delta Complex's expansion ('35) & the new Exis Labs ('41). Banks is key figure in system-wide Mars recruitment."

We Are Hiring! Exciting New Job Opportunities on Mars!

"Dear UAC employees, I'm pleased to announce that the UAC is expanding its operations to Mars, following our success on Mercury. We're taking further steps to realise humanity's ancient dream: for Mars to function not just as an outpost, but a second home. This project is massive & involves serious resource realignment across the entire Solar System. Our goal is to build a new Mars! I want to emphasise that we achieved all this through your persistent work and self-sacrifice, for which I am very grateful. Colleagues! Your years of dedicated work have paid off. The time has come for the best UAC staff to reap the rewards and join! It is time to tackle humanity's new challenges in the most inspiring environment. Secure your seat on the next Mars transfer!"

William L. Banks is a mentioned character in Doom 3, and has his own individual profile.

K. Lee-Creel[]

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

"Kekoa Lee-Creel is a minor character in Doom 3 (2145), where he serves as a Marine stationed at the Marine Command at Mars City. During the timeline of Mercury Rising in 2141, he served as a Marine in Operation Oversight Phase Two for about 18 months. Oversight is a system-wide Mars recruitment drive, spearheaded by Director William Banks, promising excellent pay & conditions. This resource mobilisation is very popular, attracting masses of UAC workers eager for better circumstances and wages on Mars. Due to the volume of applications, candidates face strict screening. Transfers require high discretion and military security. Kekoa is part of an escort team, but he believes his talent is wasted on Mercury. He plans to reach Mars by any means necessary."

Sorry, Boss, but I'm f* cking done!

"I've watched us haul these chosen ones for 18 months. What the f. makes them better than us? Why are they sent to Mars projects? We're rotting on Mercury while they get transfers. One moron blabbed he's leaving on a loan! A goddamn Mixon Finance loan, Boss! So basically, UAC is paying for these privileged f* ckers to fly their shiny asses over there! This is madness Boss and not fair! Sean-guy gave me a security key. I managed to override this crazy automation and shut down the rocket propulsion. F* ck this AI! Once we slow down, I’m getting off at Titian Terrace. I'm taking my chances on Mars, Boss! F* ck this job. Goodbye and take care. P.S. I hear a firefight. Donald is screaming at the workers? I’m leaving the blue key here if you need it. I have to f* cking go!"
