The Marine Engineer (a.k.a Combat Engineer Marine) is a Marine who becomes the leader of his own team. He is one of the survivors of the DarkStar starship. Finding himself tasked in protecting the artifact, the Marine Enginner team up with Elizabeth McNeil and Dr. Cloud to stop the second invasion and take down Maledict to protect earth.
He serves as the protagonist of Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil.
History[]
One year after the incident on Mars, the engineer was sent to Mars along with his own team to investigate a strange signal. The marine sees the The Artifact and touches it, unintentionally tearing the lives of his teammates and re-opens the gates of hell. Under the guidance of both veteran researchers McNeil and Cloud, the enginner took it upon himself to redeem for his action and humanity by confronting forces of devils for mankind's sake.
The marine travelled to the depth of hells and eventually confronts Maledict, and in the ensuring battle feed the beast the artifact itself, erasing it existence from hell once and for all.
He then blacks out, as his vision fates to the call of McNeil, leaving his fate unknown till this day.
