Template:Requiem 11-20

This level occupies the map slot MAP16. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:MAP16.

MAP16: Escape from Chaos is the sixteenth map of Requiem. It was designed by Iikka Keränen, and uses the music track "Reason for Nothing" by Mark Klem. It makes use of simulated windows on the side of a lowered ceiling. Oddly, the level begins inside of a restroom, and ends with the player escaping the level on a space shuttle.

Description

There is no description provided for this level in both the text file and the Requiem info pack.

Secrets

  1. Near the first door of the first building, there is a section cut into the eastern wall. Push on the wall below it, and it will lower, unveiling a super shotgun. (sector 34)
  2. On the upper floor of the first building, the northeast room contains four blue banners hung on walls. The southwest one can be pressed on, opening a compartment with a plasma rifle. (sector 283)
  3. From the northwest of the upper floor of the first building, there is an inaccessible tunnel with caging on the eastern side, containing a plasma rifle. At the upper level of the green marble section in the southwest of the map, the tunnel can be accessed through an opening on the east side. This tunnel counts as a secret. (sector 129)
  4. In the cargo bay of the space shuttle at the end of the level, there is a berserk pack on top of a crate. Nearby it is a switch; press it to lower the crate, and grab the berserk pack to trigger this secret. (sector 198)

Bugs

  1. The door located in the platform after executing the cubes (operating via switches) jumping puzzle is flagged as requiring a red key although a nearby switch without requiring the key opens the door thus making the red key as unnecessary.
