Kill all of the [[former human]]s in front of you (try causing [[monster infighting|infighting]] to lessen their numbers) and grab the [[shotgun|shotgun(s)]]. Enter the circular hallway and head to the north. Enter the door from the northern side and flip the switch to lower some stairs. Kill the Imps and go through either one of the doors. Head up either stairway and hit the switch to lower the northern walls of the hallway. Head back out and dispose of the former humans while also killing whatever comes out of the teleporter in the northeast. Wait 30 seconds for the bars to rise, and then simply approach the switch behind them. You do not need to flip it, but doing so will prevent any more monsters from teleporting in. Run over to the shack south of the teleporter and dispose of the [[Demon]]s; approaching the aforementioned switch will have raised a barrier that was blocking you from entering this building. Flip the switch in the shack to end the level.

This level occupies the map slot MAP01. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:MAP01.

MAP01: The Teleporter is the first level of Memento Mori. It was designed by Michiel Rutting and Denis Möller, and uses the music track "Hidden Anger" by Mark Klem. Rutting designed the pentagram and the circular hallway, and when he never spoke to Denis again, Denis finished the level.[1]
