MAP01: Get Going! is the first map of Scythe. It was designed by Erik Alm and uses the music track "Intermission From DOOM ".

Essentials[]
Head north from the start and enter the building. Go down the stairs in the northwest corner of this room, and hit the switch on the northern wall. This lowers the red key. Backtrack grab the now-lowered red key. Enter the southeastern building, and head up the stairs. Hit the switch on the easternmost wall. Enter the southernmost area, and head east to find the exit switch.

- In the northeast corner of the courtyard, the small platform with the chainsaw. (Sector 13)

Linedef 270 has a missing upper texture, making an obvious HOM visible to the player.

Trivia[]
In a way similar to how Ultimate Doom's E3M1 was reused as the first part of E3M9, this map was reused as the first part of the super secret level, Map32, of this wad's sequel Scythe II, but upon flipping the exit switch you'll realize it's not really an exit, and you have more to do. The style of gameplay also changes dramatically, from an easy warmup level into a BFG-oriented slaughter.
