Foreverhood is a game made by Brian "Skadoomer" Goodsell that uses the source port ZDoom as its game engine. Demo 1.0 was released on September 10th 2006, with demo 1.1 being released soon after. It was later canceled. Foreverhood is an independently developed single player First Person Shooter. Created through the super-human efforts of one man, foreverhood is basted on a source port of the classic Doom engine called Zdoom. Currently in it’s forth revision; the project began in 2003 as an experimental video project. Over each build, the limits of the engine have been pushed in an attempt to create believable yet surreal environments. In Combined with one of the most abstract stories about life and death, foreverhood has shifted from an art project an engaging action adventure game.

Currently in it’s forth development cycle, Foreverhood 2.0 aims to carry out the original vision of the project: to build an entirely new game as a piece of art.
