Sometimes when the player collides with a wall, he or she will bounce off the wall. It is a rare occasion, but when it happens it is caused by the "Always Run" option that is available on some ports of Doom. For example, in Zdaemon, combining "Always Run" with wallrunning can sometimes result in an elastic collision. It has not been proven yet if this phenomenon can cause the player to grab or get to places of higher elevation.
