The Doomhunter is new type of enemy introduced in Doom Eternal. The Doomhunter is a type of demon called Agardon Hunters from the terror realm.

After the Unholy Crusade, all Agardon Hunters are rendered extinct but one that was designed to hunt the Doom Slayer.^[1]

It bears some resemblance to Sabaoth from Doom 3 (a humanoid on treads equipped with ranged weaponry) and the Strogg Heavy Hover Tank from Quake IV.
