The 2019 Doom 3: BFG Edition Remaster, listed commercially as Doom 3, stylized as DOOM3 (with a cubed symbol instead of a 3), and usually referred to by fans as Doom 3: Unity Remaster or Doom 3: Unity Edition was a remastered edition of Doom 3: BFG Edition, remastered by Panic Button (the same people who ported Doom (2016) to the Nintendo Switch) and published by Bethesda Softworks. It released along side similar remasters of The Ultimate Doom and Doom II/The Master Levels on July 26th, 2019 for the Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4), Microsoft Xbox One (XONE), Nintendo Switch (NSwitch), and Microsoft Windows Personal Computer (PC) (on the launcher Steam). A port later released upon the launch of Google Stadia (Stadia) on November 19th, 2019. It is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards-compatibility. On March 29th, 2021, an version made for virtual reality (VR) launched on PS4.

  • Available on modern non-mobile platforms.
  • Multiplayer removed.
  • Can connect to a Bethesda.net account.
  • Allows you to unlock certain customizables in Doom Eternal.
  • No muzzle flash illuminating the room, no welder and short circuited cables lighting effects.
  • Has dynamic shadows and flashlight.

Unlike the remasters it released along side with, it received generally favorable reviews.
