Deag Ranak is a Hell Priest featured in the upcoming game Doom Eternal, one of three infernal lords leading the charge over conquering Earth at the behaste of Khan Maykr.
He and his malignant sect once serving loyally amongst the Night Sentinels of Argent D'Nur. Ranak, as with his brothers, were tainted into the service of hell by the corrupting influence of Argent Energy after a commander of their order known as the Betrayer cursed the three Wraiths into turning The Well into a portal to Hell. The priests then founded their own sanction of Sentinels loyal to the Khan Maykr after the fall of their home dimension. In return for his services, the demonic hordes rewarded Ranak's misdeeds by making him a bishop within their Doom legion. He and his brethren having continued to diligently serve the forces of darkness for eons ever since.
Doom Eternal
Having returned to the Earthen star system only to find it ravaged by the demonic horde. An ancient enemy of the Deag; The Doom Slayer, swears bloody vengeance against the traitorous Archdukes in response. Hearing tell of a meeting between all the Hell Priests, he moves to reach their rendezvous point within a ruined city The Slayer could intercept them at.
Later on Ranak's pursuer tracks him to a Union Aerospace Corporation facility in the arctic circle. As the Doom Slayer infiltrates the establishment murdering everything in his path, holographic projections can be seen around the factory both taunting the Slayer as well as coaxing his minions within monsterous forces as well as the UAC cult to throw themselves in his path so as to provide the Deag time to plan his escape.
