The Union Aerospace Corporation Precision Bolt Rifle, also known as the Burst Rifle and formerly known as the Repeater, is a select fire rifle featured in Doom (2016) Multiplayer Mode, and a primary weapon in Mighty Doom.
Multiplayer[]
The Burst Rifle can be unlocked in multiplayer at level 3. The player spawns with 60 ammo (90 is the max ammo). The weapon features two fire modes:
- Primary Fire - A selective-fire battle rifle equipped with reciprocating barrel assembly and 3-round burst mode. Each burst does a total of 30 (10x3) damage for a body-hit and 45 (15x3) damage for a critical-hit.
- Weapon Mod - Aims down the sights and selects a semi-automatic mode using magnum ammunition (Hold the Weapon Mod button). Damage is slightly increased to 16 for a body-hit and 24 for a critical hit.
Mighty DOOM[]
The Burst Rifle makes its single-player debut by returning as an equippable primary weapon in Mighty DOOM that fires automatically with unlimited ammunition, shooting 3 at a time intermittently to inflict kinetic 
damage like many other handheld weapons, color-coded gray. Its otherwise limited attack mobility is overcome with certain upgrades that allow the weapon to create additional scattering projectiles when shooting wall blocks, attacking demons or Glory Killing them, and it has a few more abilities that can augment its damage, including imbuing the bullets with toxic 
damage, color-coded green. During a chapter run, the following 8 temporary abilities can be obtained for the Burst Rifle, which expire at the end of such run:
Bounce: Projectiles bounce off walls.- Lead Poisoning: Adds Toxic damage and a chance to weaken enemy defenses to the Burst Rifle.
- Focus Fire: Firing while stationary increases the Burst Rifle Crit. Chance.
- Shrapnel Shot: Burst Rifle hits have a chance to fragment into shrapnel.
- Bone Fragments: Glory Kills cause enemies to explode into shrapnel.
- Demolition: Walls explode into shrapnel when destroyed.
- Bigger Crits: Critical Burst Rifle shots hit for more damage.
- Stagger: Increases chance to stagger enemies for Glory Kills.
