Ancient Belias is a supporting antagonist of Doom: The Dark Ages. He is the oldest Hell Priest in existence and has seen Hell's empires rise and crumble. Belias is first seen with the witch at the assault on Khalim. Warning the Witch about the fact the humans would launch the slayer if they were pushed enough to do so.
Belias considers the quest of the Witch to find the heart of Argent D'Nur to be a fools errand and does not approve of her quest to reawaken her god, nor does he approve of the war Prince Ahzrak wishes to fight.
Background[]
Advisor and lieutenant to The Witch and Prince Ahzrak, Belias reports directly to The High Council and serves as their living conduit.
He closely watches and scrutinizes Ahzrak's every move throughout the campaign. Following Ahzrak's downfall, he quietly retreats with the remnants of the demon horde, unwilling to confront the Slayer and risk meeting the same grim fate.
