The automatic Turret is a weapon located in the Mars research facility . It was designed by Mixom Corp . to help security in bases . It can be seen first in Doom 3 when the Doomguy gets to the marine HQ . However when the demons invaded Mars city , most of the turrets went crazy and shooted at all they have seen , included survivors . The automatic turret can be seen in action when the Doomguy gets at the Delta Labs entrance . It is indestructible , so dont bother to shoot at it . The only way to shutdown a turret is at the network . The Doomguy must get to the Computer nearby and shutdown the Turret .
