The Archnotron is a returning monster to appear in the upcoming Doom Eternal and will be a playable demon in Battlemode .
Physical Appearance
The design is very similar to the Arachnotron's original appearance in Doom 2 , the only big difference being that the cannon is now on top of the brain rather than below its brain.
Combat Characteristics
The Arachnotron can climb walls at any angle, it can jump long distances and can shoot plasma from the cannon on top of its head. It can also fire grenades at the player. It also has a melee attack. The player should target and disable the Arachnotron's plasma cannon as soon as possible.
