Ambient is an enemy type in Doom Eternal as well as its first and second dlc releases. Ambient is a grab-bag type for enemies that don't fit into the other types (Fodder, Heavy, and Super Heavy). They are usually very weak and provide minimal threat themselves, but can cause problems in other ways. For example, the Buff Totem isn't a direct danger. It is stationary and dies to an uncharged Blood Punch, yet it constantly spawns buffed demons.
